For graduates of the 8-Week Program
A small standing group at the front edge of consumer neurotechnology — working with me month after month, year over year, as the tools keep changing.
Or $300/month. Cancel anytime.
Thought is power. New paths, higher potential.
Why this exists
By the end of the 8-Week Program most people have landed on something real — a protocol their brain actually responds to, with QEEG data behind it. That's the starting position, not the finish line.
Then the program ends, and the thing that made it work goes away: somebody reading the scans with you and changing the plan when the numbers move.
There's a second problem, and it's the bigger one. This field does not sit still. New devices, new measurement systems, and new research land every few months, and almost none of it arrives with an honest answer about whether it's worth your money. Most people find out by buying it.
NeuroPioneer solves both. You keep the ongoing coaching, and you get a group that evaluates what's new before you have to bet on it.
What we actually do
Half the work is your own brain data. The other half is figuring out, together, what's actually worth adding to the stack.
Alpha peak, theta/beta, fast-wave activity, before-and-after comparisons. I tell you what moved, what didn't, and what I don't trust — including when a scan is just noise and should be thrown out.
Frequency, power, duration, sweeps, cross-frequency coupling, neurofeedback pairing. When something stops moving the needle, we change it — with a reason, not a guess.
Whatever's just come out — a new headset, a new stimulation modality, a new analytics platform — we look at it as a group. Sometimes I've already tested it. Sometimes a member gets there first. Either way you hear the honest read before you spend.
Sleep, travel, stress, supplements, medications, diet. Half of reading brain data well is knowing what else is in the picture. That's the psychiatrist part of my job.
Beyond the headband
Consumer EEG is variable, and it only tells you so much. NeuroPioneer members get access to objective cognitive measurement that goes past what a device on your head can report.
New measurement tools land in this group first. That's a large part of what you're paying for.
Monthly guests
Most months I bring in someone worth your hour — device engineers, researchers, clinicians, the people actually designing the analytics platforms and running the studies.
You come with questions. You get answers from the source instead of from a forum thread or a sales page.
In person, once a year
Our first NeuroPioneer retreat ran in July 2026 here in San Diego — clinic ERP scans, protocol work, hands-on time with new hardware, coastal trails, and a small group of people doing the same strange, interesting thing with their brains.
The next one runs next summer, scheduled around the group. Members get first claim on the seats.
Expand perspective. Explore nature. Elevate life.
Everything included

Enrollment
The group is small on purpose. I read every scan myself, so it stays that way.
The honest version
Try it risk free
Annual members: if it isn't for you, tell me within 30 days and I'll refund you in full. Monthly members: cancel any time before your next billing cycle.
Who's running this
Navy-trained psychiatrist and neurotech educator. I've spent the last decade testing this equipment on myself and reviewing it publicly — Muse, Mendi, Sensai, Vielight, and whatever showed up after — and the last several years reading brain maps with people one week at a time.
I'm a psychiatrist, which means I'm the person who notices when your numbers dropped because of a supplement someone else added to your routine, not because the protocol failed. It also means I'm slow to get excited about a device until I've seen what it does to real data.
Questions
It's built as the continuation, so almost everyone comes in that way. If you haven't done the eight weeks, start with the 60-minute brain map and we'll talk about the right path.
Whatever you were already using in the 8-Week Program — typically your red light unit plus a Muse headband for the Myndlift scans. That's the floor, not the ceiling. As new tools come into the group you'll hear an honest assessment before you buy, and nothing is required.
No, and that's rather the point. Part of the value here is finding out which new hardware isn't worth it. When something does earn a place, we'll have data behind the recommendation.
One group call, plus your own sessions and scans. Most members run a handful of sessions a week with a before-and-after scan on each, and update their tracker once a week. That tracker is what makes the call useful.
Your seat is included with membership. Travel and lodging are on you.
No. This is general wellness education and coaching around consumer neurotechnology. It isn't a diagnosis, and it isn't a substitute for care from your own physician.
Yes. Email me and I'll sort it out.
